Paul D. Mosley studied dance at Washington University in St. Louis (where he received his BA) and the North Carolina School for the Arts, before moving to New York in 1988. He has danced with the St. Louis Ballet, the Bill Evans Dance Company, Mark Taylor and Friends, Neta Pulvermacher and Dancers, Lynn Shapiro, Sally Hess, and Ze'Eva Cohen among others. He is also a choreographer and Artistic Director of Paul D. Mosley Dance Inc. He has received numerous commissions for his work both nationally and internationally and his company has been presented throughout the country, most notably at The Lincoln Center, Jacob's Pillow, The Yard, DIA Center for the Arts, The Mulberry Street Theater, Gowanus Arts Exchange, West Virginia University, Washington University in St. Louis , The University of Illinois, and the Seattle Mime Theater. Mosley recently completed his MFA at the University of Washington in Seattle, and has since, accepted a position at Vassar College as Artistic Director of the Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre.
